Ugbede Nelson Attah
Group Managing Director/CEO, Lighthouse Capital Limited

Ugbede Nelson Attah is a seasoned investment professional with diverse experience in fund/portfolio management, securities and commodities trading, financial advisory, investment advisory services, and marketing of various financial instruments. He is the pioneer Group Managing Director/CEO of Lighthouse Capital Limited and is responsible for the strategic direction of the firm, as well as overseeing all securities trading business.

Ugbede has over 18 years of experience in Investment Banking, Securities and Commodities, Fund Arrangement, and Investment Management/Portfolio Management.He has successfully arranged financing in excess of US$10 billion across multiple sectors, including oil & gas and financial services, in his investment banking career to date.

Prior to his current role, he worked with Veritas Glanvills Pensions Limited as Head of Investment, where he successfully grew the Assets Under Management (AUM) from US$165 million to over US$300 million. He also worked at TAK Asset Management Limited as Head of Funds Management, managing assets in excess of US$2 billion for entities under the TAK Group.

He started his Investment Management career with Capital Bancorp Plc as an Investment Analyst, managing corporate clients’ portfolios and high-net-worth individuals, as well as cross-selling financial products within the Capital Bancorp Group.

He holds an MBA from the Business School of the Netherlands and a BA in Public Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS), an Associate Member of the Commodities Brokers Association of Nigeria. He is an authorised dealing clerk on the floor of the Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE), a Sponsored Individual with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and an Approved Person by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), United Kingdom.

Zahid Mubarik SHRM-SCP, SPHRi, GPHR
CEO, HR Metrics

Zahid Mubarik is an internationally acclaimed thinker, writer, speaker, and thought leader on strategic human resource management. He is the CEO of HR Metrics and founder and president of SHRM Forum Pakistan. He has the honour of being the only HR leader from Asia to become a member of ISO Geneva Technical Committee 260 for Developing Global HR Standards. The Committee initially comprised 11 leading countries, including USA, UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, and Pakistan.

He served as a global Convener of HR Metrics Standards ISO TC 260 leading 31 countries. He also led Pakistan in ISO HR standards development meetings in Washington, London, Melbourne, Rotterdam, Paris, Singapore, Bali, and Montreal.Zahid has a knack for aligning workforce productivity optimisation metrics through alignment with organisational strategy.

He has the honour of being a distinguished speaker in in-person international conferences on people analytics in Las Vegas, Beijing, Moscow, Baku, Hanoi, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. Zahid served as a member of Pakistan Stock Exchange Task Force on ESG Disclosure.

Boye Balogun
CEO, FutureTech Media, Jonomi Ventures, The Commerce People

Boye Balogun is a visionary business leader and serves as the CEO and founder of FutureTech Media. Renowned for his future-forward approach to digital marketing and innovation, Boye has operated in leadership capacities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for over 15 years.

Today, he specialises in helping brands accelerate their digital marketing and achieve digital transformation through FutureTech, a Dubai-based company with offices in Singapore, Johannesburg, Lagos, Cape Town, and Kenya. FutureTech combines brand-level studies, shoppable media, and conversational ads to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients across multiple industries.

In May 2022, Boye launched The Commerce People, an e-commerce business offering SaaS and managed service solutions designed to accelerate revenue growth across platforms like Amazon, Takealot, Shopify, and WooCommerce.

The Commerce People empower brands from strategy to execution, helping them set the pace in virtual commerce marketing and marketplaces, including minting and selling digital assets and NFTs.

In addition to leading several businesses, Boye is devoted to investing in the next generation of entrepreneurs. He founded Jonomi Ventures in 2019, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on emerging markets in the MENA region. Jonomi Ventures partners with innovative entrepreneurs to build disruptive growth companies. He takes a hands-on approach in all his ventures, actively driving funding and strategic direction. To date, he has helped 15 businesses realise their dreams and contribute positively to the economy.

Boye’s passion for emerging technologies and platforms, particularly in emerging economies, has established him as a recognised voice in digital innovation. He has appeared on global business media platforms such as Bloomberg Media and CNBC. Boye’s visionary leadership continues to shape the future of digital marketing and entrepreneurship, making a significant impact on the global digital economy.

Dylon Tao
Executive Director, Investor Services at MUFG (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group)

Dylon Tao is an enthusiastic financial professional with 18 years of experience in banking, fund administration, and prime brokerage. Throughout her career, Dylon has consistently pushed the boundaries of what is possible, driving advancements by transforming herself from Investor Relations in fund services to Sales in securities services, to Prime Brokerage Sales and Consultant in prime finance. She currently serves as Executive Director, Investor Services at MUFG (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group), one of the world’s top financial groups, overseeing relationships with institutional fund managers across various asset classes.Her career began at HSBC in 2006 in Investor Relations within the Securities Services unit.

She later joined UBS as Fund Services Director, leading mandates for their Asia Fund Services business before moving to Credit Suisse to take on the role of Prime Brokerage Sales and Consultancy, contributed to the establishment of Greater China funds in Hong Kong.Prior to her current role at MUFG, Dylon was involved in Prime Finance and clearing sales at JP Morgan, focusing on portfolio solutions in equities and fixed income.

Dylon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management and a Master’s degree in Service Management from the University of Buckingham, grounding her expertise in her extensive industry roles.

Aisha Garba
CEO, Aifa Consulting Limited

As the CEO of Aifa Consulting, Aisha Garba leads a firm committed to delivering executable organisational strategies and workforce development interventions that align people operations with corporate objectives to drive sustained growth and success.

Prior to her current role, Aisha held leadership positions at Veritas Kapital Assurance, Mainstreet Bank (now Polaris), TAK Asset Management, and United Bank for Africa. In these roles, she spearheaded initiatives that significantly enhanced operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, process optimisation, and revenue growth. With a career spanning two decades, Aisha has established a solid foundation in shared services, strategic planning and execution, talent management, and data analytics across multiple sectors.
